65R Gimbal

1. Install 65R gimbal into smart dovetail mount.

2. Secure latch.

3. Power on Aircraft.

65R Gimbal & External GPS

This is an unconventional configuration for use of a 65R with astro.

1. Install GPS module into mounting tray.

2. Install 65R gimbal into smart dovetail mount.

3. Secure latch.

4. Connect USB-C cable to GPS module.

5. Secure USB-C cable.

6. Connect USB-C cable to gimbal.

7. Power on Aircraft.

The GPS module is connected to the USB-C port on the upper portion of the gimbal not the USB-C port on the sensor itself.

If an external GPS was purchased with the 65R, the hardware to mount to the drone needs to be installed. See the instructions linked below.
